Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
